Wanting no fuss or fanfare, it's time for a well-earned retirement for Kevin Stratton, a true gentleman of our industry.
From a family farming background, Kevin started in the livestock industry at the age of 17. When relationships were formed on old-fashioned trust and hard work, Kevin had a successful era with Gippsland & Northern Co-Op servicing clients across Gippsland as an Area and Branch Manager. Later he also acted as an agent and head auctioneer in centres such as Bendigo, Rochester and Kerang. After settling in Central Victoria, Kevin became a highly respected partner and livestock manager of Ellis Nuttall & Co for over 43 years before joining McKean McGregor. Over the past few years, we have been extremely fortunate to have Kevin as a mentor, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with our growing team while continuing to service his long-term clients. Kevin has left a lasting impression and lifelong friends amongst his clients and the local livestock industry, on behalf of all of them we thank him for his contribution to the industry and wish him a long and very happy retirement.
