L'Huillier notes that it's no longer viewed as a mere hobbyist pursuit but recognized as a global phenomenon.

Hours Of Operation

The Bendigo Share & Repair Cafe operates on the third Saturday of the month and every Thursday from 10am to 1pm,  welcoming people with broken appliances or garments with tears. Volunteers with expertise in various fields eagerly lend their skills to fix these items. However, the cafe is more than just a repair hub; it aims to educate and advise visitors. Supported by the City of Greater Bendigo's circular economy program, the cafe offers workshops on waste management, soft plastics recycling, and other sustainability projects.

Expanding Horizons

The new location of the Bendigo Share & Repair Cafe at 120 Garsed Street, Bendigo opens doors to exciting possibilities.
